Natalie Baird has litigated hundreds of Family Law matters during her career, from simple divorces involving child support, equitable distribution and timesharing to highly-contested divorces.
Natalie understands the needs and concerns of the parties and prides herself on an impartial view with the goal of mitigating the need for lengthy litigation. Well-versed in Family Law, Natalie understands that in most cases, with complicated circumstances and lots of emotions at play, there truly are no winners, only the best solutions for difficult transitions.
The mission of Natalie Baird Mediations is to serve clients in a professional and competent manner that provides a better life for them. Natalie is not only is a lawyer, but has gone through many of the same situations as the parties she serves.
In addition to her law practice, Natalie is actively involved in the Tampa Bay community. Together with Cory Baird and two other attorneys, Natalie also founded a non-profit program called Are You Safe, Inc.
Sarah E. Kay, Esq., BCS assists Florida’s families in the Tampa Bay area through guardian ad litem services, as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator, and as a Collaborative Attorney through her firm Kay Family Law PLLC in Tampa. Sarah assists solo and small firms providing contract research, writing, and consulting services. Speaking, writing, and consulting on family law matters, particularly ones involving persons with disabilities or special needs, are among Sarah’s passions.
The multiple advanced degrees and certifications Sarah has earned reflect her love of life-long learning. Sarah’s Board Certification in Marital & Family Law by The Florida Bar reflects her specialized knowledge, skills, and proficiency in that area and her professionalism and ethics in practice. She is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (“AAML”), a selective organization founded to provide leadership that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law. Additionally, Sarah holds a Master in Education from Worcester State University in Massachusetts, a Master in Business Administration from Stetson University, a Certificate in Special Education Advocacy from William & Mary Law School, and a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude from Stetson University College of Law.
Sarah’s accomplishments have been recognized by her peers. Her multiple awards include the Family Law Section’s prestigious 2021 Alberto Romero Making a Difference Award, the 2021 Florida Bar President’s Award for Pro Bono Legal Service for the 13th Judicial Circuit, the 2020 Chair’s Award of Special Merit from the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, and a 2020 Leader in the Law award from the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
